We are so close to wrapping up this year! How has 2025 been for you? Every year comes with its ups and downs, but personally, 2025 has been challenging and if there is one thing I’ve been needing this year, it’s rest.
I’ve been reflecting a lot on the theme of rest recently, as I’ve come to realise and learn that while I am a capable human being who genuinely puts a lot of energy and heart into everything I do, I am very much a human and not a machine. Sometimes, it’s a good reminder that even if we can put our minds into doing anything, we shouldn’t do everything.
With that said, about a month ago, Singapore company Weavve Home reached out to share with me about their high-quality bedding that is made from TENCEL lyocell fabric, with numerous reviews saying it delivers a wonderful sleeping experience. I thought oh perfect, this ties in exactly with the rest I’ve had on my mind!
Speaking of rest and sleep, I am very thankful that I have no issues with sleep. With my jam packed schedule and the demands of work, I usually fall asleep very quickly and I sleep deeply. In fact, I’m one of those people who struggle with early mornings! If I have no issues with sleep, what difference does it make then, for me to use quality, cooling and luxurious bedsheets?
After using Weavve Home’s TENCEL bedsheets for the last few weeks, my conclusion is clear: I still fall asleep very quickly and sleep deeply. But when I wake up, I feel more well rested. I can’t quite explain it fully, because I generally feel rested as long as I have enough hours of sleep (which is probably the real challenge!). My best description is that I wake up feeling a stronger level of rest, I feel more refreshed and prepared to start the day ahead.
Other than being well rested, who doesn’t love sleeping on very smooth and soft sheets? Haha, I love it and feel so spoilt now. For me, the Weavve Home team had kindly recommended and sent me their Signature TENCEL classic set (which consists of 1 bedsheet, 1 blanket cover and 2 pillow cases). I opted for my set in the natural looking ‘Sand Taupe’ colour. :) While I’m happy for my bedding set to have a matching colour scheme, if you prefer different colours, they have a mix and match option too, where you can choose your preferred colours for each piece.
Final question – how much does this cost? At the point of writing, my signature TENCEL classic set starts from S$259 for the single size (inclusive of free delivery in Singapore). Yes, I agree this falls on the expensive end and on the luxurious side of home bedding products. Would I still recommend it? Yes, but I would particularly recommend this to those of us who are prioritising our sleep health and looking for high-quality and long lasting bedding products.
There is also the option to purchase each individual piece separately (instead of the whole set), which is a good way to give it a try first. :)
