How was your Christmas this year? :) š
December is usually a time when life/work slows down slightly for me, allowing me to take a breath, clear out my inbox, look at lower priority things, catch up with friends and family etc. For the first time in a long time, this December did not slow down for me. In fact, 2024 did not slow down for me at all…
I am continuing to reflect on the year 2024 while this year comes to a close, but no matter what happens, I make it a point to capture Christmas in my city whenever possible! :) One amazing thing about living in Singapore (and Hong Kong too) is that Christmas decorations will always look slightly different every year, which I love!
Here is Christmas time in Singapore for 2024, where I captured quite a lot of things that made me smile. :) I hope your Christmas was filled with warmth and joy!

Chanel did the most beautiful display at Marina Bay Sands this year! I think this might my personal favourite for 2024. :)
Red is always a classic favourite for Christmas! :)
National Library Singapore did the most amazing book themed Christmas tree, which is so on brand and a wonderful idea! The “tree” was made up of a variety of book covers that showed Christmas books on one side, and on the other side, QR codes for visitors to scan to borrow e-books! Absolutely brilliant!
On the topic of books, I was happy to see House of Dorchester’s chocolate “book boxes” at Takashimaya! I also bought myself a lovely handmade book pouch from a Singapore small business Cravinspace! :)
The Centrepoint shopping mall went for a bakery themed Christmas display this year, which was so much fun! Loved it!
The Fullerton Hotel is gorgeous at Christmas and this year there were a lot of teddy bears, which added a touch of cute charm to the beautiful space. :)
