Little Flower Hut: Teddy Bear Bouquets

13 March 2019 in SHOPPING, SINGAPORE

In celebration of International Women’s Day, I was gifted a very special teddy bear flower bouquet from Little Flower Hut, a Singapore online florist! I love flowers for any occasion, but felt especially happy to receive some for IWD, as it’s a lovely touch of inspiration for me, with one chapter of my work life ending and I set forth in looking ahead for new opportunities and beginnings.

When Little Flower Hut got in touch about some flowers, I started browsing their website and admiring the huge selection of pretty bouquets they had available, but they surprised me when they told me about their “Teddy Bear White Series” featured for International Women’s Day and asked me to choose my favourite! :) While I have received traditional flower bouquets before, this is my first time seeing and receiving a teddy bear constructed out of flowers and it is adorable!

Out of the four, I chose “Ms. Happiness”, which is this pretty and pink girly bear made of numerous little white and pink chrysanthemums, with a pink bow above one ear and two glittery heart shapes for paws. My flower bear in these photos is the regular table size, which is 30 cm (in height). If you’re keen on throwing a big surprise for someone, it comes in a life size option too, which is 1 metre haha! (Shop Ms. Happiness here!)

I absolutely love the bear and the design of this bouquet, it’s cute to look at and makes everyone smile! As you can tell from the pictures, the flowers are also tightly put together and there’s no gaps in the construction. The one minor issue was that when the flower bear arrived, the heart shaped “paws” had already fallen off and I stuck them back on for the pictures. They actually kept falling off anyway, so I decided to place them on the bear’s ear to go with the bow instead! :)

Online Shopping Experience
I did not make a direct order through the website, but took a look around the website like a regular online florist shopping browse anyway. I found some bouquet options I liked and some shopping elements I enjoyed, so wanted to share them here too!

  • The site offers a huge variety of bouquet options – from gorgeous hand bouquets, to box bouquets, teddy bear shaped bouquets like mine and birthday bouquets. On the homepage, there’s also a section for wallet friendly bouquets below $50, always nice as a little treat for yourself or for gifting too!
  • Delivery is free with every order!
  • Speaking as a regular online shopper, I really liked Little Flower Hut’s categorization of products – letting you shop by bouquet types, by flowers and by occasion! This is great for people who lack the time or patience to browse online or it also helps to narrow down the options when you don’t know how to choose! (Added some screenshots below for reference.)

All things considered, I’m happy with my flower teddy bear and with the shopping experience on Little Flower Hut too. I hoped this post was useful and gave you an option to consider for your next round of flower shopping!

Note: The teddy bear bouquet is a gift from Little Flower Hut, thank you! This is not a paid post and all opinions and content shared are my own.

2020 felt so slow, but 2021 has me feeling like time is flying by. The year started and as I race along trying to keep up, it's April! Perhaps it's the spring themed everything going around, but I'm feeling hopeful for new beginnings again.🌸

It's been a long tiring week, so I've been having a simple weekend: getting up for breakfasts, book shopping, picking up more books at the library, watching TV and cozy Youtube vlogs. :)

I usually fill my weekends with a full schedule, but 2020 has taught me that quiet slower ones are just as good. 😌

It's already November and I've missed posting abou It's already November and I've missed posting about the 6th blog anniversary of citygirlcitystories.com (which was in October)!

Running this personal lifestyle blog has been such a passion project. ⭐ 6 years in, this blog has journeyed with me from Hong Kong to Singapore, from university to working life. I'm still the same city girl exploring her city though, and I still have plenty of things to share. 😊

I've talked more on the blog (link in bio) with photo memories from the past 6 years. Check it out! 🤗
