1 week ago by citygirlcitystories Rainy day explorations in Tai Po. It's the rainy season in HK, which is icky, but it meant that I got to see this stretch of road at the Plover Cove Reservoir almost completely empty! This was my first time here and I'm told it's usually full of people and cyclists, so this was quite an exciting and uncommon sight to take in! So happy to still be able to see something new in Hong Kong, even as my time left in this city is counting down. ⏳⏳

Hong Kong was a name reflected on my identity documents, a distant place I watched on TVB dramas and movies growing up, a place I hear about from my parents' stories. Then, I came here in 2010. We visited the "Poho" area in upper Sheung Wan, ate dim sum and had tong shui while my friend filled me in on the latest news and other things about Singapore hahaha!
