Are you team tea or team coffee? I’m definitely team tea! I drink all kinds of teas on almost a daily basis, picking different types depending on my mood or the food I’m eating. :)
Speaking of teas, I was recently gifted a selection of goodies from A Healthier You, a Singapore online health food store. They got in touch about sending me some of their products to try, and after sharing with them that I’m a regular tea drinker, they recommended a selection of floral teas and herbal tea blends, which my family and I have been enjoying a lot, especially with the extra time spent at home these days.
P.S. If you’re keen to try the teas and products I’m sharing in this post, you can use my 10% discount code (no minimum spend), details below!

Packaging & Shopping Experience
I’ll start by showing the packaging A Healthier You’s products arrived in. My first package included a wide selection of products, so it arrived in this big and bright red box wrapped with white ribbon, it felt like Christmas came early. :)
For fewer items, the products arrived in this brown boxes tied with string. The packages also arrived with printed notes for each product, with the name, benefits of the product and some instructions and recipes. You can also find all this info on their website.
Extra note: Most of the products are available in different amounts and price points, so it’s easy to shop for what you want more or less of. I appreciated the attention to detail in this online shopping experience. Now, on to the teas!
Floral Teas
The teas I tend to regularly reach for are black teas and fruity teas, so I was keen to try out the floral (and caffeine free) teas A Healthier You recommended: jasmine, Kunlun snow chrysanthemum and French rose.
My personal favourite of the three is the jasmine tea. My family and I make a pot of this and like to drink this light tea in the afternoons for a mid-day refreshment. We also like to add some lemon slices and honey to it too!
The Kunlun snow chrysanthemum is new to me, and this Chinese tea is the strongest of the three, you’ll like this if you’re a fan of stronger aromas and subtle sweetness in teas. We’ve been drinking this after dinner, to wind down with the latest TV show we have on.
The French rose tea is as the name suggests, a very light and floral tea. I generally prefer stronger teas, but if you enjoy light floral scents and taste, this one’s for you. Next time, I’m trying this with a little honey as per their suggestion.
Herbal Tea Blends / tong sui 糖水
I’m from a Hong Kong family, so tong sui is definitely part of my dessert favourites! I was sent two herbal tea blends from A Healthier You, packaged in individual sachets containing a blend of dried longan, goji berries, red dates and dried baby chrysanthemum (link here and here).
These ingredients are perfect for putting together a Cantonese style tong sui for a post dinner treat, we just added rock sugar to sweeten.
The second time we made this, we also added more goji berries and peach gum for added sweetness and texture, and it turned out a delicious (and healthy) dessert!
I was really happy with how my teas and tong sui turned out, and if you’re interested to try anything, I’ve linked all the items mentioned in the post. Feel free to enjoy them the way I did, or any way you prefer. :)
