2017

31 December 2017 in DIARY, HONG KONG, SINGAPORE

It’s time to say goodbye to you, 2017! What a year it has been! I usually feel quite wistful at the end of every year, because to me, it’s the end of another chapter and 2017 has been a wonderful chapter. However, saying goodbye to certain chapters also mean beginning of new ones. This has been a big theme in my 2017, with the most obvious one being my move from Hong Kong to Singapore!

Before I say hello to 2018, I wanted to wrap up my year, and because so much happened this year that I wanted to remember, I included many snapshots from moments throughout the year! This New Year’s Eve, I’m excited. I’m excitedly hoping for further developments in the new year and excited to find out what’s next! :)

So cheers to the new year and here’s wishing you the very best in 2018!

A candid photo of me and it’s one of my favourites. This is one of the ways I want to remember my time in Hong Kong, as the girl who was always fascinated with and capturing her city, in whatever location or day, as long as it was worth capturing. :)

JULY 2017

In July, I moved back to Singapore, took a very quick break and then started my new job and embarked on a new career direction! :)

December started in Hong Kong! I was back in my favourite bustling city for both mine and my sister’s graduations! After our short and very fun trip, it was back to Singapore where I spent my Christmas, which I do almost every year. :)

I usually fill my weekends with a full schedule, but 2020 has taught me that quiet slower ones are just as good. ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Running this personal lifestyle blog has been such a passion project. โญ 6 years in, this blog has journeyed with me from Hong Kong to Singapore, from university to working life. I'm still the same city girl exploring her city though, and I still have plenty of things to share. ๐Ÿ˜Š
